About XBG Plumbing & Heating Ltd

Xbg Plumbing & Heating was born in the spring of 2003 by two former British Gas employees, Mark Murphy and Lee Stafford.

It soon became apparent with the volume of customers requiring their services that it would need to expand.

It has always been the companys vision to employ youth and to provide them with the neccessary training to shine within the industry.

All Xbg staff have been carefully recruited using a rigarous process to make sure that they are of a certain quality that you the customer would welcome into your home.

Xbg know that customers appreciate the personal touch and so please find below an introduction to the Xbg staff.

Mark MurphyMark Murphy
(Director of Service & Maintance)

Mark first joined the industry in 1991 starting his apprentiship with British Gas. In his first year Mark was awarded the Apprentice of the Year award, and went on to become a Service Engineer specialising in Central Heating / Boiler breakdowns. Mark left British Gas in the summer of 2003 to establish Xbg and is now responsible for the Service and Maintanance department of the business.

Lee StaffordLee Stafford
(Director of Sales & Installation)

Lee joined British Gas full time in 1992 after a spell on work experience during the previous year. Lee was also a winner of the Apprentice of the Year award and went on to establish himself as a key member of the British Gas team. Lee left British Gas in 2003 to establish Xbg and is now responsible for the Sales and Installation side of the business.

Aaron KnappAaron Knapp
(Gas Safe Engineeer)

Aaron joined Xbg in 2004, initially on work experience, but soon landed a full time role as an Apprentice. Aaron completed his training at Chichester College in 2007 and his constant hard work and professional attitude is always welcomed by the customer.

Elliott RobinsonElliott Robinson

Elliott joined Xbg in 2007, initially on work experience, and like Aaron soon proved to be a great addition to the team. Elliott has completed his Plumbing Qualifications, and returns to college this autumn to complete his level 3 Gas Certification.

Christian RobinsonChristian Robinson
(Apprentice Plumber)

Christian is the newest member of the team joining in the summer of 2010. Again a school work placement gave Christian the opportunity to shine and he impressed so much he was invited to join the team following his exam results confirming him a college place. Christian starts this September on his level 1 Plumbing Qualifications.

Lauren GoodmanLauren Goodman
(Office Receptionist)

Lauren joined Xbg in 2010 to help with the running of the new office. Lauren will be there to deal with your enquiries and be an immediate point of contact for the customer and to assist with the efficient running of the business.
